Progressing on the player's trek from Route 306, the path on Route 307 will continue to take them north towards Nyasa Town. Before reaching Nyasa Town the player will come across a face-off between Aria, Professor Oak, N, and Cyrus versus the commanders of Team Asgard/Olympus. Though no battling occurs, the player learns that Aria was once offered a place among Team Asgard/Olympus and the player's allies also learn that Odin/Zeus has obtained a Legendary Pokémon. Once the antagonists finish ridiculing the player's allies, Professor Oak asks the player to return to Superior City in order to speak with the Legend Researcher.
TIP: Talking to Cyrus before the player heads back towards Superior City will earn them TM17 Protect.
The player only has to take a few steps into the grass away from Professor Oak to be teleported away to Superior City, which is quite the time saver.
TIP: If the player's Pokémon are worn out from the battles on Route 306 and 307 then it is possible to leave the Legend Researcher's house to visit the Pokémon Center, but only if this is done before trying to talk to him.
After speaking with the Legend Researcher, the player will go to leave his house only to get teleported back in front of Professor Oak on Route 307. After speaking to him again, the screen shakes as a result of some kind of explosion that came directly from Nyasa Town. The Professor will leave you to investigate the source of the destruction.
After Obtaining Surf[]
Once the player obtains Surf they may traverse the water on the left side of the route to come across a Hidden Grotto.
